We would like to take this opportunity to reach out to you during this time of national and world crisis. Acts of Nature are some of the most difficult things and times to experience. The COVID19 Pandemic has affected us All!
At times like this we must all do our part to Help and to protect ourselves, our families, our friends and our neighbors.
To help understand the current guidelines/ restrictions, recommendations that our Federal and local governments have asked and imposed on us come from recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and learning from what other countries are experiencing. The most important part to understand is that slowing and limiting the spread of this virus is the most important thing that we can do for everyone’s best interest. We have no natural immunity to this virus, no vaccines for it, no standardize treatment for it, no specific medications to treat for it and all of us are at risk for it.
We strongly encourage everyone to follow the recommendations from the CDC, WHO and practice the utmost safety and hygiene guidelines in order to do our part in this.
We do have the ability to test for COVID19. It takes 1-3 days for us to get results.
We remain open for our patients. We have instituted various measures to protect ourselves and our patients. The following are some of things we have put into place and ask for your cooperation:
1. We now have the ability to do Telehealth appointments by phone, video/ computer and are asking patients to schedule these types of appointments.
2. We are asking patients to check in from their vehicles once they are in the parking lot (if possible) and wait to be called into the office.
3. Anyone who is feeling ill or sick we are asking them to wear masks entering the office, bandanas and scarves can be used. For those who do not have one there are scarves at the front door.
4. We are allowing only three patients at a time in the office at one time.
5. We ask that only the patient come into the office for their visit unless a minor and needing a parent to come in with them or a patient that needs assistance for mobility or translation.
6. Patients will remain in the exam rooms until brought out for check out by the staff.
7. If you believe that you have been exposed to or have COVID19 please inform us before attempting to come into the office. For these types of patients, we are having them remain in their vehicles and staff will go to the vehicle to collect samples.
8. There are other procedures being implemented so call if you have questions or concerns.
All though we may all be separated, We are all in this together and are not alone!
With the best wishes, regards from The Macias Healthcare Family,
